Open Days
The Superconductivity-CDT will be holding a series of Open-Days in December 2024. These are great opportunities to hear about how the CDT operates, the first year training programme and the application procedure. They are also opportunities to ask questions and talk in person to many of our PhD project supervisors.
The details for each of the open-days are as follows..
Cambridge : 3rd December
Time: 2-4pm.
Location: West Hub https://www.westcambridgehub.uk/, J J Thomson Avenue, Cambridge CB30US.
The Cambridge open day will start with an overview talk about the CDT, followed by short introductions to the Cambridge-based projects. This will be followed by a poster session where prospective applicants can talk informally and in more depth to supervisors.

On-line: 6th December
Time: 2pm-4pm (UK time)
We will hold an on-line open day on 6th December from 2pm UK time. The open-day will start with a talk from the CDT-Director about the CDT, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions. There will then be breakout rooms hosted by supervisors of the PhD project proposals. These will give a forum for applicants to meet supervisors and ask project specific questions. In order for us to arrange the breakout rooms it is important for those attending the day to register in advance and let us know which projects you are interested in.
